Internship Program

Overview

The University Controller’s Office has PAID student internship opportunities available in the Fall and/or Spring semester for those who wish to work 10-20 hours per week.  The internships involve participation in accounting, financial reporting, process improvement, and compliance projects designed to implement or improve best practices in each area.

Each selected intern will join one of the teams in the Finance & Accounting Division, which provides a wide range of financial operations that support and assist in the creation of a strong fiscal environment for the University.  For more information about the departments within Finance and Accounting, visit our Department page.

To qualify, interns must meet the eligibility requirements below and possess excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Eligibility

Applicants must be an accounting, finance, or related major at UF or Santa Fe College.

Applicants must have successfully taken or be enrolled in the following:

  • Introduction to Managerial Accounting ACG2071
  • Introduction to Financial Accounting ACG2021

Main Campus (Elmore Hall and Tigert Hall)

East Campus (2140 NE Waldo Road, Gainesville)
