Directive Statement

Departments should purchase office and public area furniture in accordance with the State or University contract in effect at the time of purchase, which can be found on the Procurement website.

If a department needs to purchase furniture not available on contract, the department should contact the UF ADA Compliance Office to provide a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disability Act (ADA).

To ensure adherence to University rules and state requirements for the purchase of furniture.
