The mission of the University Controller's Office is to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous business and accounting services to the campus community.

The functional responsibilities of the University Controller are to:

  • Maintain an accurate and effective accounting and reporting system.
  • Provide campus leadership in the development of effective control systems to safeguard University assets.
  • Pay the University's legal obligations.
  • Maintain the University's banking relationships.
  • Coordinate the efforts of all internal and external audits.
  • Collect student tuition and fees, and other student payments.
  • Maintain an accurate and effective Contract and Grant management system.
