Training

Asset Management has four training courses to help you become familiar with the rules and regulations of property at UF and enable you to manage property through myAssets.

The following online classes are offered through HRS. Register for these classes through the myUFL portal (Main Menu>My Self Service>Training and Development>myTraining):

Property Overview:

  • PST501 – Property 101 is for any UF employee in possession of or responsible for property, including: Property Custodians, Departmental Contacts, primary investigators, and lab managers.

Asset Management uses the Asset Management subsystem in PeopleSoft to record and track all capital assets. Asset Management has developed myAssets, a user-friendly interface, to help the departments in managing their capital assets and attractive property.

myAssets Training:

  • PST502 – Required myAssets training for individuals to become Departmental Contacts
  • PST503 – Required myAssets training for individuals to become Property Custodians

Procurement Training:

  • PST120 – Required training for individuals to purchase capital assets.
